On Friday, October 20, ALL SAU computer and network systems will be unavailable from 5 pm to midnight due to critical system maintenance.
During this maintenance window, the 17-year-old core network equipment will be replaced with new equipment as part of the SAU Network Rebuild that is currently underway. This replacement requires taking down our whole network, as the “core” routes ALL network traffic in and out of SAU.
During this outage
The entire SAU main campus computer network will be unavailable
The portal will be unavailable
Blackboard will be unavailable
Email will be available as long as you have it setup on a mobile device or in Outlook and are NOT on main campus
Box will be available as long as you have Box Sync or Box Drive installed on your computer/mobile device and are NOT on main campus
NEW logins into Email, Box, PyraMed, or Blackboard will not work
